Senior Security Analsyt, JK1168

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Security Analyst with Xacta Corporation, our wholley owned subsidiary that provides security-centric services and products in the areas of information assurance, secure wireless, and secure messaging.  This position is located at our clients site in Fairfax City, VA.

 

Provide expert assistance to Information System Security Officers (ISSO's) and Project Management Officers (PMO's) in the use of ASSERT.  Respond to general information security questions, requirements, and controls concerning GSA and Federal Government (OMB, NIST) guidelines.  Monitor websites, listservs, etc., to maintain currency on Federal security and security in general.

 

Review C&A documents and provide comments on their adequacy.  Coordinate completion and submittal of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reports, and other reports for submission to headquarters.  Coordinate and respond to data calls concerning advisories, alerts, incidents, etc. from headquarters.

 

Active Secret Clearance is required.
CISSP required.
BS in CS or equivalent required, Masters is preferred.
Experience in the use of the ASSERT tool is a plus.

 

The successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation, must be a U.S. citizen, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
