SYSCOM has an opportunity for a Senior Microsoft VB.NET? Developer with our client in Vienna, VA.?You will design and develop database systems that provide transaction processing and web-based data entry and retrieval, as part of a custom software development team.??You have the choice of being an hourly consultant or a permanent employee of SYSCOM.

Requirements:
*Minimum 5 years experience in software development / system analysis.
*Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, industry standard practices and processes.
*Experience designing user interfaces for maximum ease of use.
*Solid Relational Database experience.
*Recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Visual Basic.NET and ASP.NET on a windows environment including Stored Procedure development.
*Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (DOD) after hire.
*Professional attitude, communication/teamwork skills.
*Authorization to work in the United States

Desired:
*Current Secret security clearance (DOD).
*Experience designing or building Data Warehouse systems and/or large databases.
*Competence in T-SQL Stored Procedure design and development.
*Competence in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET development.
