Senior Software Developer - .NET

Archstone-Smith is one of the nation's leading owners, operators, developers, and acquirers of apartments in major metropolitan areas across the country. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Design, code, and test software architectures and frameworks;
Design and validate UML diagrams;
Design, code and test software applications;
Consults with business analysts, management and other developers to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required;
Analyzes test runs on applications to correct or direct correction of a coded program;
Revises and maintains existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to newer requirements;
Produce program documentation and revisions management;
Adheres to coding policies, standards, and practices for naming conventions, terms and symbols used to simplify interpretation of programs;
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must have the following skills:


Seven or more years of programming experience;
Proficient in Microsoft Programming Environments and object oriented development;
Experience with .NET, C#, ASP, VB, JavaScript, and SQL;
Proficient in Microsoft applications;
Possess excellent design and planning skills;
Possess good verbal and written communication skills;
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred;
Previous technical support experience preferred;
Experience in computer services user training preferred.
