Senior Software Engineer/Architect
CORPTAX, LLC, is seeking to broaden and deepen its technical strength in support of its market leading, enterprise level, distributed, commercial software system - a system that is undergoing a significant technical migration in addition to the expansion of its capabilities.
We are seeking a senior level person with a broad and deep technical background in distributed business systems based on Microsoft technologies.? Your initial assignment will be to take the lead for one of our calculation applications - a suite based on COM+, MFC, ATL, STL etc.? The position is "hands on."
Requirements:
1.?????? Minimum of five to eight year of software development, at least three of which must be in a senior, lead or architect capacity.? You will interface with?? multiple departments to gather requirements and resolve issues.
2.?????? Must be proficient in Visual C++ 6.0 with COM+, MFC, ATL, STL and Database programming, including SQL and transactions.
3.?????? Must have experience with object oriented
analysis and design.
4.?????? Experience with HTTP and/or other Internet technologies is strongly preferred.?
5.?????? Experience with UML, Rational Rose, ActiveX controls and XML is a plus.
6.?????? Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
?
Education: BS or equivalent experience, MCSD preferred.
