Senior Software Engineer - CRM

We are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer on the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Sales Force Automation development team that is responsible for developing & supporting our Siebel sales applications.
Primary Responsibilities:Participate on development team consisting of 4-7 team members Assist in gathering, documenting & interpreting user requirementsContribute to design & development specification documentsAssist in defining project development strategies, estimates & timelines Ability to communicate and apply industry standards for configuration and development on SFA systemsAbility to build and demo proof-of-concept prototypes to team members and business usersAbility to extend and customize Siebel Sales application through standard toolsets to meet West specific business requirementsAbility to recommend, compare & contrast multiple solutions using standard toolsets and methods Collaborating with other developers, team leads, and external vendor consultants towards completion of configuration, development, & unit testingDevelop, test & maintain custom interfaces between CRM applications, SAP and legacy systemsWork effectively in a team environment consisting of team leads, developers, contractors, and usersEffectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrentlyProvide regular status reports on development progress and issues to team and/or technical leadsParticipate in ongoing support and maintenance of the system, including enhancements and new releases
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field Four to six years experience with full-cycle (i.e. requirements definition through testing/implementation) software development Two or more years experience configuring and/or developing with Siebel toolsTwo or more years experience with the following core technologies: Java/J2EE, JSP, Visual Basic, ASP, COM, MTS, Relational databases (DB2, SQL), XML, XSL, XSLT, NT, Unix Good oral and written communication skillsEffective problem solving and issue resolution skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels
Preferred or Desired Qualifications: Middleware development experienceSiebel EIM integration experienceSiebel ASI integration experienceSAP R/3 knowledgeExperience working with Call Center, Sales and Account Management users and toolsData Warehousing experience Business Analyst skills
