We are actively searching for Senior Software IT Specialist. The ideal candidate will be required to articulate, demonstrate and perform billable services with our Tivoli System z (z/OS) Automation portfolio of products. Acting as a technical migration specialist, the ideal candidate will conduct product demonstrations and work with customers to articulate the value of IBM solutions. The ideal candidate must posses good
presentation and communication skills and have extensive customer facing related experience in both technical pre-sales and post sales delivering services. Previous billable engagement experience is a definite plus. Previous related experience with mainframe software competitors (ISV's) is preferred. Previous experience selling Tivoli System z (z/OS) software solutions is also highly desirable. Major Field of Study: Information Technology or Business. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Mainframe z/OS, zSeries Software Systems Management, Tivoli Performance/Automation and zSeries Platform. The ideal candidate must have Net view experience. The Senior Software IT Specialist can reside in any US City. The successful candidate will be mobile and will work remotely with minimal travel (up to 25%) required. Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
