Senior Software Specialist
Responsibilities:
Plan, support and manage the installation and implementation of vendor supplied software products.
Perform systems programming activities and coordinate project resources required to meet software maintenance and installation schedules.
Communicate effectively with technical associates, development staffs and end users throughout the organization.
Plan, organize, coordinate and manage complex technical projects, a well as providing strategy and leadership.
Develops, manages and prepares project plans to monitor project implementation progress and schedules.
Analyzes technical system changes and enhancements to system software in determining impact on existing systems to insure continued operations and availability of systems.
rovide technical expertise, training and coaching as needed.
Looking for a highly skilled technical individual who meets all of the following required key skills: z/OS (all of the components of the operating system), Unix System Services, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ Series, InfoPrint Server, eCommunications Server, Disaster Recovery Experience, Performance and Tuning experience, Strong Debugging and Problem Resolution Skills.
Attention to detail; strong written, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently.
Requires strategic thinking, project planning, project management and coaching ability.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
