Senior Solution Delivery Architect- Mercer HR Services US

A Senior Solution Delivery Architect is responsible for designing and developing software architecture frameworks, guiding and reviewing development project architecture, evalluating new technology, and developing demonstration/proff-of-concept systems for emerging technologies.  This position is also responsible for consulting with business and technical departments within MHRS to facilitate requirements analysis, evaluations and adoption of new applications.  To fulfill this role, the senior solution delivery architect will:
Provide architecture and design guidance for application developement projects Perform architecture, design and code reviews for development projects Develop and manage development of common services for cross-enterprise software functions Develop pilot/proof-of-concept systems using new software and hardware technologies Perform technology evaluations and produce written reports Integrate and configure alpha and beta release hardware and software systems

BS in computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or related field.  Masters degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in both software development and design 3+ years of experience in applications architecture Strong object oriented development skill in microsoft.net technology Strong experience with advanced Microsoft development concepts (Com+, Reflection, MSMQ, C#, XML, Threading, Transactions, ASP.NET, Web Services, SQL) Software design skills (UML Modeling) Strong experience leveraging software development tools (Visual Studio, UML, design tools, version control, unit testing, deployment, packaging. Broad technical expertise in many areas and the ability to master new technologie quickly Strong Writing Skills Strong problem solving skills, ability to interface with product vendors Strong Presentation skills Ability to work with individuals across multiple departments Good Project Management Skills System integration skills.  (Windows, UNIX, TCP/IP, Messaging, Scripting) Experience in Java and J2EE Technology
