Senior Storage Administration Analyst
Senior Analyst, Storage Administration
BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit healthcare organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and mid-Missouri regions. Our nationally recognized hospitals and affiliation with Washington University School of Medicine ensures our goal to improve the health of the people and communities we serve. Presently, we seek a Senior Analyst for our Storage Administration team in St. Louis, Missouri.
Our ideal candidate will exhibit:

* Excellent customer service oriented
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong ability to train and mentor others
* Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential
* Strong analytical, trouble shooting, and problem solving skills
* The ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies
Requirements:
* Candidate will be required to cover a 24x7 call schedule approximately one week a month (Rotated between team members).
* Candidate must be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision or direction
* A working knowledge of network infrastructure, topologies, and protocols is essential (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Switching and Routing)
* Experience with SAN and NAS technologies
* Experience with distant replication of storage plus
* Experience with SAN switch management (SW/HW, McData preferred)
* Experience with EMC storage management (SW/HW) of Symmetrix and Clariion
* Experience working with Unix based Operating systems (AIX, Red Hat, SUSE, etc.)
Preferred:
* Experience with ECC/SYMCLI and Navisphere
* Experience with EMC Centera and Celerra
* Experience with Network Appliance FAS and R series
* Experience with IBM ESS and DS8000 series
* Experience with IBM 3592 and STK 9840 tape drives
* Experience with IBM tape library technology (3584)
* Experience working with Windows Networking Operating systems
* Experience working with mainframe Operating systems (zOS and zVM)
