Senior Systems Administrator (Providence, RI or Hazlet, NJ )

 DESCRIPTION The Judge Group is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join a client company as a full time employee. The work site for this position can either be in Providence, RI or Hazlet, NJ.


The Senior Systems Administrator performs administration of mission critical systems, performing backups, and supporting complex technical issues. At part of this team, this position is for an individual capable with proven technical, analytical and problem solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:

? Advanced administration and monitoring of technical infrastructure including servers and network connectivity
? Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing.
? General system maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including software and hardware upgrades, networking, installations, patches, scans, updates, backups, wiring, virus protection and error resolution
? Hardware and software installation
? Proactively manages systems for capacity planning
? Troubleshooting of production incidents including corrective actions and determining root cause
? Participate in testing of new applications and system modifications
? Database administration
? Secures system by developing system access, control, and evaluation; monitoring.
? Research and evaluation of new software and hardware
? Other responsibilities as deemed necessary to support the technical infrastructure
? 24 x 7 x 365 coverage
? Limited travel
