This position involves all aspects of server system administration, implementation, and support. The Senior Systems Engineer will administer approximately 50 Windows servers and 100 network printers with 600 clients.  The applicant must have advanced knowledge of Windows servers and network technology, administration, and analysis.  Dell server experience is preferred.  Good organization and communication skills are required for project planning and implementation.  Strong skills in Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, and Exchange are required; UNIX and Linux skill is a plus.  A BS degree in related field and at least three years of experience is required, MCSA/MCSE preferred.  This is an opportunity to work with the latest technologies and a progressive team of computer professionals at the University of Pittsburgh.
