Senior Technical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Sr. Technical Systems Engineer focused on delivering .Net Web Applications in a manufacturing/services organization for revenue generating opportunities. This position will report directly to the Manager, Customer Facing, and Portal Technologies and will have a key focus on Application Architecture, and Systems Design to the various teams across the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess 10+ years? development experience with 5+ years design and architecture experience in large scale enterprise web applications, and a strong combination of technology leadership and technology management skills.

This individual should have the ability to design and develop solutions that follow best practices for web applications using software patterns, asp.net 2.0, SharePoint 2003, MOSS (SharePoint) 2007, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and through both development and infrastructure techniques.

Key Job Functions include:

?Strategic architecture and design/development for enterprise-level applications.

? Lead architecture and design sessions fostering a collaborative problem solving environment.

?Articulate architecture and design decisions focused on delivery to onsite, and off-site development teams through discussions, and documentation.

?Communicate with project managers and business unit leaders for all projects involving customer functionality.

?Participate in the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata.

?Focused on accelerating the business and delivering against project plans

Skills Required:
?Bachelors in Related field + 5 years of related experience or 10 years as a software engineer
?5+ years web application design and development
?Experienced with patterns and practices from Microsoft
?At least 2 years as software architect/design lead in Microsoft .NET technologies.
?At least 2 years experience with Microsoft Visio.
?ASP.NET 2.0, Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 experience
?SharePoint experience a plus
?C++, C#, MFC, ATL, COM/DCOM object use and development,
?ADO.NET, IIS
?A scripting language (Javascript, VBscript), CSS, AJAX, XML, XSL, HTML, and SQL
?Strong documentation and source code repository tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Visual SourceSafe) skills.
?Strong ability to interact with a technical as well as business audience.
?Self starter leveraging multiple avenues of increasing knowledge
?Mentoring of other internal and external associates
