Senior Technician

Job Description:

 Installs and maintains computers, computer peripherals, and other types of office equipment.  Assists in specifying proper components to meet customers' applications requirements.  Able to read schematic diagrams and follow instructions.Maintains all paperwork required for warranty service and/or reimbursement, as well as Service Request documentation.  Follow-up with customers to inform them on service status.  Is able to install software for applications and utilize computer diagnostic test equipment and software.Support all computer / Internet requirements for external and internal customers.Set up services based on customer demand.Assists coordinators in daily work planning, training of staff, and effectively handling customer service issues.Other job duties as assigned.Travel required.

 

Education, Training and Experience:

 Associate Degree, trade school, or equivalent work experience.Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license and have an impeccable driving record.Able to demonstrate proper use of diagnostic testing equipment and/or software.Experience with computer networks, servers, operating systems, databases, Internet technologies.Attentive to detail and excellent follow-up with customers.Excellent customer service skillsMust be able to follow and execute procedures related to the job tasks.
