Senior Technology Project Manager

Epec, one of the fastest growing electronics companies in New England, is seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager to first, lead the implementation of our new ERP system, and second, leverage our technology platform to optimize global operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a common sense and business minded approach to problem solving, has successfully led the implementation of an ERP system or software system, is a skilled and detailed project manager, and embraces longer term growth opportunities. 

 

While the chosen candidate does not need to have any software code writing skills, she or he has a proven track record of working with programmers, identifying problems, proactively creating solutions, and delivering on budget and on time.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 Implement our ERP system, company-wide, including:

?  An analysis of all processes, workflows, and service objectives.

?  A detailed project plan of the ERP implementation to meet all required cross functional solutions and detailed business requirements.

?  Oversee the implementation of the new system to include a cross functional Project Leadership Team.

?  Facilitate the re-design of all the established processes with the business process owners to include updated documentation and company wide training on each.

?  Lead the design/build team at ERP Company to ensure code conflict/systems integration issues are identified and solved, and all of implementation goals and objectives are met.

 Lead and facilitate process improvement throughout the organization,   with the longer range goal of transitioning 80% of all processes into our technology platform.

?  Collaborate will all functional leaders within the company to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement, after go-live.

?  Manage the deployment of new automated processes and tools.

?  Develop change requirements; establish project objectives, plans and schedules.

 

 

Qualifications:


Candidates applying for this position must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a background in the areas of technology processes, development and monitoring of internal controls, project management, systems/applications. Candidates must be self-starters with a solid work ethic and strong project management skills. Candidates should also possess the following:

?  Strong understanding and knowledge of IT, system/application controls and processes.

?  The ability to act in a consultative capacity as a business partner, but be able to "say no" in a constructive and appropriate manner;

?  Strong organizational skills and attention to details;
