Senior Test Analyst (mainframe systems)

Job Summary: The Senior Test Analyst leads software testing projects and provides quality
control and assurance expertise to the testing process.  They are responsible
for defining the system test plan and strategy, supervising the system test
team on one or more projects, ensuring adherence to the testing methodology,
approving code promotion and demotion, tracking defects and reporting metrics,
signing off on requirements and design documents, and supporting unit and
acceptance testing.  They create and maintain the testing project work plan
and provide status reports to management.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.

5+ years testing and quality assurance experience.

Mainframe background (& testing) required.

Interest and ability in distributed systems testing:
WebSphere, Weblogic, J2EE, Unix, SQL, Rational tool suite, and Business
Process Management Solutions (Pega Systems) experience preferred.

Demonstrated human relation skills to effectively interact with middle
management, peers, subordinates, internal and external customers
and vendors.

Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams.

Advanced presentation skills and oral and written communication skills.
