Senior Test Engineer
Modis is seeking Senior QA Testers with 7+ years of experience to support a long term contract opportunity in Northern Virginia. Consultants will be responsible for conducting wide range of tests and analysis with full competency to ensure that software, systems, and services meet minimum company standards and defined end-user (functional) and system (non-functional) requirements.
Required Skills:
? Experience with Rational Tools especially Rational Robot, Rational Functional Tester & Rational Test Manager.
? Some programming background preferably in Java, VB or C/C++.
? Financial Industry experience is a plus.
? Strong in SQL and must possess very good analytical skills.
? Experience with Defect and Change management tools preferably Rational Clear Quest and Clear Case.
? Working knowledge of Unix.
? Familiar with Testing process and methodologies and should have worked in a testing role.
? Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Test methodologies
? Ability to prioritize along critical path and meet project milestones and deliverable dates
