Senior UNIX/CAD Systems Administrator Description:We are seeking an energetic UNIX/CAD Systems Administrator with a strong background in the setup, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Unix and Linux workstations and servers.  The successful candidate will be responsible for local support as well as support worldwide. Responsibilities (not limited to the following tasks):Setting up and maintaining hardware. Performing upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes when needed. Setting up and maintaining printer servers and clients. Documenting procedures and writing project proposals. Enforcing the CAD system administration policies. Responding to user requests via Web-based Service Request System.Requirements:Operating systems: Unix (Solaris/HP-UX), Linux (RHEL) and Windows 2000. Hardware: Sun Blade and Ultra series, HP-C series, Intel and AMD PC?s. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to write proposals and documentation. Ability to work independently in a team environment.  Self-motivated/self starter. Ability to achieve preset goals with high quality in a multi-tasking work environment. Energetic, hardworking, willing to help others, willing to take challenging tasks. BS degree or higher strongly preferred. Willing to travel when needed. Networking knowledge a plus: TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, DNS, LAN, WAN.
