Senior UNIX (SUN Solaris) System Administrator

Job Description:
As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for building SUN Solaris servers and configuring third party tools like Veritas VM, VXfs, netbackup and SAN. You will be responsible for implementing internal compliance procedures and ensuring servers are complaint with Client standards. You will be responsible for day-to-day support issues, projects and production application deployments. You will also interface with Application Support groups and other technology organizations on projects and support issues. You will be required to provide on-call support on a rotating basis with the other members of the team. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also function as a team player is essential. Job Experience:
*Experience with Solaris OS, NIS+, DNS, NFS, Networking, HA Clusters
*Experience with the following technologies: VERITAS products like VM, VXFS and Netback, SAN,
*Experience with security tools like SEOS, eTrust
*Strong scripting skills.
*Familiarity with DMZ, firewalls and security tools is also essential.
*Web server, application server knowledge is a plus.

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
*Strong customer and quality-focus is a must.
*Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required.
*Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
*Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
