This individual will be a hands-on senior system administrator responsible for the administration of a dynamically growing system environment. This candidate will be involved in planning, designing and implementation of projects that support the ongoing business growth while participating in day to day operation and support of the environment

The skills required for this position include:

? Excellent communication and inter personal skills
? Strong coordination and analytic skills
? 8+ years experience in Unix system administration
? Deep Experience with at least one of the following operating systems: AIX, Linux
? Expertise in Java, Tomcat, Apache and other web applications
? Experience with LVM and Netbackup
? Working experience in web based environments and supporting such architectures
? Experience with SAN-based storage/application and enterprise storage is a plus
? Skilled in Unix shell and Perl programming
? Capacity planning, experience in performance analysis and tuning
? Working knowledge in databases like Oracle and MySQL
? Working knowledge about networking architecture and concepts
? Desire to work in a fast paced, evolving, and dynamic environment

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated and will bring a balance of technical, creative, organizational and analytic skills, and a solid track record of working with diverse functions to achieve a common goal. The successful candidate will possess the following:
? 10+ years IT experience with at least 8 years as System Administrator. BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent.
