Position Description:
A leading, global distributor of electrical components in the Phoenix, AZ market has an immediate need for a Senior Websphere Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Websphere Administrator professional with experience working in a dynamic environment full of changes and lots of project activity, with Websphere Application Server (WAS) competence a must. The successful candidate will have worked in a clustered work environment, supporting multiple application servers, specifically UNIX (AIX, Linux), who has configured new versions, performed patches and supported a 24x7 support center. Websphere Commerce Server experience would be an excellent addition to the needed skill set. The preferred candidate will be quick on their feet, intuitive, creative and problem solving oriented. Solid documentation and strong verbal and written communication is a must. Working with the development team on unknown issues will be part of the day to day responsibilities.
