Senior/lead Business Systems Analyst-IPDC-1094-0245

Bradson?s Portland client seeks a Senior/lead Business Systems Analyst for the IPDC Integration. This person will provide leadership in gathering, clarifying, & documenting requirements for interface and migration portion of a major project.  This person will lead efforts to design the interface and migration strategy for our client?s systems to a new documentation system being developed by another company.  This long term contract position is scheduled to start on 7/31/06 and will last for 4 years.  This person must be able to start work immediately.  

 

Functions:

* Actively work with customers to analyze business needs, gather and document business and system requirements

* Actively work with IT experts to identify and document interfacing systems

* Actively work with central project team (in Germany) to communicate our client?s interface requirements

* Document requirements

* Design interface and migration strategy

* Develop team to execute interface strategy

* Facilitate meetings and document outcome

* Perform business process analysis ? AS IS /TO BE

* Facilitate IT work estimates

* Document use cases and closely interact with developers

 

Minimum Requirements:

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

* Ability to work with customers, understand their business practices and manage their expectations

* Ability to analyze and document business and system processes

* Experience writing Use Cases 

* Ability to multitask and handle ambiguity

* Ability to take charge and lead tasks to completion

* Ability to work in a cross-functional organization

* Ability to work with an international team

* Willingness to travel to Germany

* MF/COBOL/DB2/IMS experience

* 5+ years of progressively responsible systems analysis experience or, equivalent work experience

* Ability to work in a team environment 

* Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
