Server Support Manager

Position Summary Provides leadership to a staff of 11 employees supporting Windows and UNIX servers in a 24 X 7 data center environment.

Responsibilities include:
Provide technical break/fix support to a 600 server distributed computing environment.
Recruit, train, and motivate a technical staff.
Provide input to architectural decisions.
Ensure all systems are maintained at supportable levels.
Meet all service delivery dates.
Provide metrics on department performance to executive management.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications
Knowledge of complex distributed computing environments
Vision leadership
Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
Ability to recruit and train a technical staff
Ability to work with an architecture team to develop technical solutions to meet business needs
Demonstrated ability to maintain a highly available computing environment
Five years technical leadership experience
College degree in technical discipline preferred
