SharePoint Architect needed!

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITES IN THE SPRINGFIELD, BOSTON AND OTHER AREAS AS NEEDED
 
Position Summary: 

Member of team, whose primary responsibility is to support, maintain, and deploy SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services in support of business and customer requirements.
 
 Responsibilities:
? SharePoint Administrator candidate will oversee the SharePoint Portal Server 2003 infrastructure and take a lead role in implementing SharePoint across the entire organization.
? Be an important part of the planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives.
? Work with clients on various SharePoint projects
? Work with teams of users to develop solutions to business problems using SharePoint and Office 2003 technologies.
? Develop, deploy, and support InfoPath forms integrated with SharePoint and occasionally involving .NET code.
? Provide SharePoint training and presentations to individuals or groups as needed.
? Configure and maintain document libraries, lists, and WSS site collections.
? Perform typical administrative activities such as backup, restore, site creation, and user issue resolution.
? Services provided may include customized web applications, portals, web parts, and integration scenarios.
? Candidate could possibly be part of an on-call support rotation.
 
Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or 4 years minimum of equivalent experience.
? At least one year of administration experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services.
? At least two years of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 implementation and configuration experience.
? A minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including analysis, development, and training activities.
? Experience creating custom web parts and working with FrontPage 2003.?
? Experience integrating SharePoint with Office 2003.
? Experience integrating enterprise content with SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to include: content indexing, search scopes, personalization, and restricting access to content
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Internet computing technologies, and an understanding of performance, backup and security issues.
? Ability to work with minimal supervision and commitment to cooperative working. 
? Must have good communication skills, and ability to work under tight time constraints and deadlines.
? Must be willing to perform systems maintenance during non-core business hours and be able to travel when necessary to support the business.
