Designs, documents, configures and develops, timely, quality, cost effective and supportable packaged and custom software solutions (specifically Siebel 7.5 +).  Includes all aspects from requirements through implementation for large and small projects.  Larger projects may include detailed design, programming and testing.

 

Extensive knowledge of the Siebel data model.  Experience with configuration of custom Screens, Views, Applet, Business Objects, Business Components, Business Services, Workflows, Assignment Manager, Virtual Business Components (VBCs), Scripting, Links, Joins, MVGs, EAI leveraging Siebel adapters, and Actuate report development.

 

 Ability to evaluate user needs and/or requirements specifications and translate them into detailed Siebel Tools configuration design specifications.

 

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

3-5 years of design and development experience in Siebel 7.0 or higher.

 

Siebel Tools configuration, Business Service, EAI, eScript, and Workflow experience.

 

Strong understanding of Siebel architecture and data model.

 

Exposure to Java

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? ability to articulate complex concepts to user and technical audiences.

 

Technical knowledge and best practices of Siebel configuration and customizations

 

Siebel 7 certification a plus

 

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of eight years IT experience in software analysis/development.
