The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.
This position is with Accenture, however you would be staffed on a long term engagement in
Washington, DC. If this client is not within a commutable distance, it would require that you relocate at your own expense.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Siebel designer/developer responsible for delivering Functional Design documentation, reviewing Technical Design documentation (created by off-shore development team), and providing support during User Acceptance Testing phase. Client-facing expectation management responsibilities.
Specifically, you can expect to be responsible for the following:
Work with application development team to determine technical environment specifications, sizing, and detailed requirementsPerform technology gap assessment between ?as-is? and ?to-be design?Build and manage the Siebel infrastructure (i.e. servers, environments, etc) for all development and test environments, including tasks such as Siebel migration, Troubleshooting any network/server related issues and identifying tasks for ongoing and future support. Provide Level 1 Development/Test Environment supportDocument migration process between environments and build supporting tools for performing migrations (i.e. getting code from one environment to another)Work with Operations Architecture team for Siebel input parameters to backup/recovery, disaster recovery and monitoring jobs. Assist in the development or configuration of any special scripts required to perform these tasks.Provide support to developers and testers providing support for ad hoc technical requests.Remain current on new versions of Siebel. Provide insight into the new versions, patches and advise projects on upgrades
Qualifications
1-5 years experience with implementing and troubleshooting Siebel components including Siebel Remote, EAI, EIM, and Workflow. This includes the ability to perform Siebel troubleshooting with knowledge of how to use Workflow Process Logs, OM Logs, Support Web. 1-5 years development experience in SQL development and tuning skills 1-5 years development experience in a computer language (VB, Java, etc), data standard (XML, DTD, etc) 1-3 years experience in operational DBA functions for at least one of Oracle, SQLServer, and DB2
Education:
Bachelors degree in math, computer science, business/MIS, or related job experience
