Site Materials Manager

Major Responsibilities:

Oversight and execution of tasks related to materials management; ordering, receiving, storage, issuing and disposal of equipment and material used in support of a telecommunications operation on a customer site. Lead a team of 2 materials management staffOrder materials for warehouse stock and special projects using both customer and Verizon purchasing.Receive material into the warehouse from vendors and projects.Track materials in inventory control database.Track inventory levels and usage to maintain proper stock levels for everyday field ops work.Track equipment repairs in ToolWatch database and Excel spreadsheets.Send equipment to repair centers and track equipment calibrations.Work with vendors to enhance supply chain support.Issue materials to customers, projects, and Telecommunications Field Operations.Collect and dispose of old, non-repairable, and obsolete equipment.

Required Skills/Experience:Must have a proven record of managing large scale warehouse operationsMust have excellent writing skillsMust have excellent verbal communications skillsMust have good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Must have good computer skills and be proficient with MS Office products.

Candidate must have or be able to obtain a DOE "Q" clearance.
