Position Overview

Are you a highly energetic and innovative individual up for the challenge of rejuvenating a traditional, yet impermeable industry?  As the Business Analyst, you will be participating in a team environment, you will work with the client to understand and confirm user requirements, lead joint client design sessions, develop functional business designs, perform business process analyses, develop comprehensive test plans, lead system testing efforts, and prepare system implementation documentation.

 

You will be based in our Augusta, ME office and temporary or permanent relocation is available.  We will also consider someone from outside the area who is willing to travel to Maine each work week.

Skills and Experience necessary for success:BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related fieldImmediate authorization to work in the US5-10 years of relevant work experience in the Information Technology field5-10 years experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and systems design, testing and implementationExperience leading client design sessionsKnowledge of standard development techniques (OOD, SDLC)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with a diverse group of people including management, subject matter experts, developers, and testersProfessional business demeanor

Preferred Skills:Experience with Tax and Revenue systems
