Responsibilities:

Software architecture - The primary responsibility of the position is the design and planning of software including working with the business partners and analysts to determine the architectural requirements, determining candidate architecture, developing architectural proof of concepts to validate the architecture, working with the analysts, project managers and the developers to design the software and insure its appropriate implementation.? Evaluate new technologies and develop prototypes to determine their feasibility.

Requirements:
?
Very experienced software engineer with strong analytical skills.? Must have heavy experience with object oriented analysis and design with UML and UML based modeling tools.? Very strong Java and web skills are required for this position.? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are also a must.? Skills that are highly desirable for this position include: database design and modeling, experience with the Rational Rose, ClearCase, ClearQuest and the Rational Unified Process (RUP), experience with Unix, experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
