Software Architect (Can Reside In Dallas, TX or Any West Coast City)

We are actively searching for Software IT Architect. The ideal candidate would be commissioned with putting together the SOA/Information on Demand message and associated deliverables: Customer presentations, integrating Information Management message with broader SWG portfolio message/presentations, high level demo(s), and white papers. The ideal candidate should have thorough background in Core Data/XML/Websphere Information Integration/Master Data Management and a breadth of skills in the other IBM Software brands. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of methodology, creating work products, translation of customer requirements (internal or external) into technical designs/presentations/work products, and project management. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator at executive and technical levels. The ideal candidate must have zSeries and distributed experience. Major Field of Study: Computer Science or Information Technology. The ideal candidate must have experience with Rational software, methodology and development experience and have experience with SOA. The Software IT Architect can reside in Dallas, TX or Any US West Coast City. The successful candidate will be mobile and will work remotely with minimal travel (up to 70%) required. Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
