This an excellent opportunity working with a prestigious client that employs a lot of sharp people.

The individual will be responsible for the following:
Ongoing automation of development processes and tools (standard builds, release packaging, CM repository reporting)
Administration of Software Configuration Management (SCM) process, supporting developers to follow our SCM process, maintaining our CM systems
Debugging software build errors and Windows Installer issues
Educating developers on software development standards and best practices
Providing standard build, packaging, and configuration management support

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive, a good communicator, and will have elements of the following skills profile.

Required Skills:
Experience with an enterprise level Software Configuration Management system, preferably Borland StarTeam (will consider experience with ClearCase, CVS or others)
Experience with File versioning, revision and release labeling, and Change Request processes
Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (2003)
C# (primary skillset required)
Microsoft .NET 1.1
Visual Basic 6.0 (ability to read and understand, possibly some light maintenance)
Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Strong XML, XSD, XSLT skills are required
Windows Installation Packages (InstallShield, WIX, etc.)
Fundamental knowledge of Winforms / ASP.NET application development

Preferred Skills
Microsoft Visual Studio .Net (2005)
Microsoft .Net 2.0
Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Soft Skills
This position has little to no business interaction, but heavy interaction with other developers.
Strong technical communication skills.
Ability to construct clear and understandable written documents.
