E-LOAN is headquartered in Pleasanton, CA. As we continue our expansion plans we are seeking to hire experienced software developers for our Information Technology division. We are looking for high-energy, creative and self-reliant individuals to join our growing organization. Be an integral member of a team working on high-volume, web-enabled commerce systems. Our ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a fast-paced internet production and development environment, coupled with a passion for developing new technology to meet the demands of the business.



Responsibilities:

Customize, enhance and maintain applications for EMPOWER loan origination software.
Interact with business owners, QA, Systems Support, and Marketing to ensure success of our applications and to understand how to improve the utility of our systems.
Write and maintain software using a variety of languages including Delphi and PL/SQL as well as the proprietary 3rd party language of the EMPOWER software (similar to Delphi or Visual Basic).
Collaborate with other developers in developing solutions that meet identified business requirements.
Participate in the design of large-scale systems and assist other engineers with completion of their projects.



Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field ? Experience with EMPOWER loan origination software
Experience with Delphi, Visual Basic or other similar software development languages
Experience with Java, Perl, PL/SQL
Experience in an internet-based production and development environment
At least five years experience writing high-performance object-oriented software
Design and development experience creating and using Oracle database interfaces
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with team members
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
