Software Engineer III

Software Engineer III   Responsibilities: Design, development, testing and documentation of distributed software applications using n-tier architecture based frameworks. Analyze, develop and recommend design approaches. Write OO design specifications and code. Resolve complicated issues and work on critical engineering problems and /or projects. Evaluate current and future field implementations and recommend design modification or enhancements to eliminate software design anomalies, or improve product performance. Ensure product conforms to engineering design, regulatory and customer performance expectations. Assist in the development of junior engineers. Participate in design reviews and product testing as assigned. Develop and review documentation, as assigned.

Qualifications:
BSCE/BSCS/BSEE degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years software development experience using C, C++, C# and/or Java in the development of Server and/or UI (web or win form based) applications in either a Windows or Linux OS environment. Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle and/or MySql), SQL, XML is required. Embedded systems and some hardware knowledge is required. Experience in database and object modeling techniques using UML a plus. Experience in secure socket communications using TCP/IP and SSL a plus. Working experience of operating system API is required. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills; have a high level of interpersonal skills. Must be a self motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to obtain a gaming card upon employment. A security investigation will be conducted. Some travel may be required.
