Software Engineer - Java
Software Resources, Inc. has an immediate need for a Software Engineer - Java opportunity in the Los Angeles, CA area.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION3 - 4 years of software design and implementation in Java. Proficiency in all aspects of software development including identifying requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Prior technical project leadership. Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences Interest in Digital Media
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREDStrong knowledge of Java (C++, .NET also a plus) Web Technologies - HTML, JavaScript, HTTP, Servlets, JSP, PHP, Flash, XML, SOAP, AJAX Databases - MS SQLServer, SQL, JDBC Application/Web servers - Tomcat, IIS (EJB containers, Apache a plus) Experience working with source control systems (VSS, CVS, PVCS, etc.) Experience with PERL, ANT, XML Experience with Content Management Systems and Web Publishing Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design Web Application Best Practices
