Software Engineer (Microsoft)

This position primarily conducts analysis, designs products, and programs computer software, which may require extensive research. Performs software and system development, testing procedures, bug verification, release testing and beta support. Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system. Coordinates the installation of the software system.  Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints. Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems. This position also requires the flexibility to act autonomously at times while adhering to and enforcing all departmental and company policies and procedures. Background and Drug Test Required.

 Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software. Prepares documentation required of the product. May serve as a project architect.Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.Follow departmental procedures to meet customer and client needs in an innovative and resourceful manner.Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment while paying a great amount of attention to detail and meeting assigned deadlines.  Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent follow-through to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.Maintains excellent communication with management and project teams regarding all aspects of their duties as it relates to their projects. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal staff.Perform other related IT duties as assigned by management.
