comScore Networks is seeking 2 seasoned, progressive thinking Software Engineers to spearhead development on a new system in our Reston, VA headquarters. You will have an opportunity to work side-by-side with some of the brightest minds in market research and in technology.

 

BASIC FUNCTIONS

In this key position, you will be responsible for the design and development of enterprise-scale systems. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Participate in the requirements gathering, design and development of new systems to be incorporated into and improve the existing processing environment.

? Develop enhancements to current solutions.

? Guide group strategy and create action plans and goals.

? Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.

? Exercise your expertise in the software development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system.

? Collaborate with 3-4 team members to identify and implement project solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field.

? 3-5 years of experience in developing and supporting client and/or web based applications

? Ability to develop advanced solutions in .Net that run in a Windows environment. Candidates should possess expert level knowledge of ASP.net and C#.

? Strong skills in a large-scale, multiple database environment are required ? preferably on SQL 2000/2005 and Sybase IQ.

? Proven experience with SQL.

? Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

? The nature of the team?s dynamics will require an individual that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members, as well as complete tasks individually as assigned.
