Software Integrator

Modis is one of the world's largest and most respected providers of Information Technology Resource Management (ITRM) services and solutions.  Today, Modis delivers world-class ITRM solutions to over 2,000 clients in the United States, Canada, and Europe.  Currently we are looking for a Software Integrator for one of our clients in Landover, MD.  The job description is as follows:

 

?Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 2000 OS, Active Directory, User Management, Policies, Profiles, Security. 

?Demonstrated knowledge of networking and communications, Cisco routers, 

?Providing technical and analytical support for troubleshooting system and documenting issues

?Identify and correct server and network communication errors at any TCP/IP layer.

?Analyzing evolving and emerging capabilities, transformation strategies, technologies, architectures and future concepts for soundness and applicability.

?Identifying capability shortfalls, and possible candidate technical solutions for short term and long term solutions.

?Providing technical support and direction to test and integration teams.

?Periodic review of systems to identify security shortfalls and assist with updating integration/assurance requirements.

?Provide security accreditation, testing, evaluation & analysis for compliance with the DOA, DOD, and national level policies.

?Possible staff briefings and correspondence with management staff.

?Reviewing reports for technical and procedural errors.

?May include periodic travel within the continental United States or Overseas, but not required.

?Must have good communication skills and team building skills.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Degree Requirements:

?Bachelors Degree OR 8 years equivalent work experience



?Active SECRET Clearance OR U.S. Citizen who is able to obtain a clearance

 

Relevant Experience (amount and type):

?Three(3) years operational experience working with Active Directory, Policies and Security. 

?Seven(7) years experience in computer systems administration and engineering

?Must have a strong working understanding of Information Security

?Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

?Must be able to work complex problems in a dynamic environment

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

?MCSE 2003, Information Security

?Experience conducting system vulnerability analysis

?Understanding of Military and/or Medical systems

?Understanding of Tactical Data Link and Networks

?Understanding of Life Cycle testing; requirements, specifications, test plans, test procedures, verification plans.
