Software QA Analyst - up to $60K

 

This is an opportunity to work as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. Our client is a leading mid-sized software product and services company in Manhattan, offering tremendous personal and professional growth as they continue to dominate the trading systems market. Their systems are used by some of the largest and most prestigious brokerage firms in the world. The firm employs over 600 staff globally, with offices all over the world.

 

You will report to the Director of Quality Assurance in New York.  You will be responsible for the development of a software test plan, test cases, test strategies, and the execution of regression testing, integration testing, functional testing, unit testing. You should be familiar with risk assessment as it applies to software quality assurance.

 

The ideal candidate will have a college degree and a year or two of Software Quality Assurance testing and analysis experience. Experience working with Unix is an absolute must, and should be immediately obvious on your resume. Experience working in banking, brokerage, or other financial services environment, especially with back office systems is a huge plus. Must be familiar with WinRunner, automation tools, and scripting.
