SOFTWARE TECHNICAL WRITER

OnlineBenefits is seeking Software Technical Writers to create, edit and maintain technical software documentation for our high-performance Benefit Solutions products. Successful candidates will get to work with some of the best minds in the industry while applying their skills to immediate use. Your responsibility will be to develop, write and edit software-related technical and administrative documentation and publications. You will prepare and maintain documentation relating to users, systems, programming, operations, products and services; gather and research technical information, including development and quality assurance information; interview programmers and other technical personnel to become familiar with product technology and development methods; prepare written documents following standard guidelines for technical publications; and create graphical images, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documentation user and tech guides.

Job Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or related degrees and 1-3 years experience in an internet software development environment a plus. Must be detail oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical research and development personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Software Applications ? knowledge of Benefit Administration and/or payroll system is a plus.
