Software Test Engineer/Functional/Principal

CITY: Boston STATE: Massachusetts COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Software Test Engineer will create and execute test plans specifically for the new Clinical Trials application being developed in Centricity Business Solutions. He/She will validate systems and software through manual test methods; will work with Software Designers and Engineers to understand the software being developed to assist in requirements and design reviews; will create New Feature Verification Guides to be used for customer validation; and will adhere to quality measurements for the release.

Qualifications/Requirements:
2+ years experience in software testing/validation and software development. Demonstrated experience in writing and executing test plans to thoroughly test new and existing software features. Demonstrated experience in translating design specifications to software test plans. Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance methods and practices. Demonstrated ability to learn standard test methodology and test automation tools. Individual must be able to function in a demanding R&D environment. Must be able to work with cross-functional teams. Must be a solid team player with strong organizational, writing, communication, and presentation skills. Must be detail oriented.

Desired:
Experience in the Healthcare industry. Experience with Quality Assurance. Experience with Centricity Business products desired.
