Software Test Engineer - (L-3 GSIMS23733)

Test Engineer. The candidate must be a team player with the ability to perform integration and system test activities. The test engineer will be able to write and execute test cases/procedures for integration and systems tests based on system requirements and developed test scenarios; and identify test data and other test case dependencies required to perform testing. The candidate must be able to discover, prioritize and document defects; prepare problem reports, and document test results. Perform Regression testing as required to verify defect correction and perform the necessary analysis to ensure a high quality system readiness for production. Support C&A and User Acceptance testing.

MANDTORY SKILLS:
Applicants must possess the ability to understand requirement documents and become fully familiar with all system requirements. The candidate must have an understanding of test methodologies and processes, with excellent writing skills to prepare and update test documentation. Have experience performing integration and system testing. The test engineer must be confident working independently on a testing effort with minimal guidance, and as part of a team. 5+ years of IT work experience with 3 years dedicated testing experience. Must have a BS in a technical field, i.e., Computer Science, Data Processing, Engineering, or 8 years in related experience.
