Software Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role: Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret test procedures, test plans, and test reports in a software development environment. Apply knowledge of CMMI or CMMI-like process improvements related to testing and inspection in the software life cycle.  Apply experience with testing and inspection at all levels of the software life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, and systems.



Basic Qualifications:


-5+ years of experience with executing test procedures, test plans, and test reports in a software development environment


-US Citizenship


-BA or BS degree
-Knowledge of voice communications systems, including wireline, wireless, VOIP, and 2G/3G


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Experience with multiple UNIX environments, including Linux, Tru64, Solaris, and DEC


-Experience with data routing management, including Cisco routers, servers, and firewalls)



Clearance:


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
