Software Tester/Quality Assurance

 

Summary:

The position requires testing of software components as they are developed, ensuring that the solutions are practical, stable, and user-friendly. In addition, we are looking for an individual with a Quality Assurance background that has a proven track record of results in improving test efficiency and reducing test cycles while increasing test coverage.

 

Responsibilities Include:

-Finding, recording and tracking bugs, defects, problems, and errors; as well as verifying requirements against final product and specifications

-Working with development and analyst groups to design and execute test cases

-Investigating problems, finding their root cause, and clearly documenting findings

-Testing bug fixes to determine if they are valid and complete

-Communicating status, findings and progress on a regular basis

 



Required Skill/Experience:

-Minimum 2 years of QA experience

-Must be able to clearly explain ideas and concepts both orally and written format

-Strong deductive reasoning capabilities with a exceptional attention to detail

-Thorough understanding of the QA test process and its relationship to a quality product

-Commitment to deadlines and willingness to meet the needs

-Previous test case development, test planning and execution a PLUS
