Solaris/AIX Systems Administrator

Intertec Consulting specializes in placing Information Technology professionals with Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. and Costa Rica. Currently, we are looking for a Solaris/AIX Systems Administrator for a 1 year 1099 or W2 assignment for a client in Sacramento, CA.

Installation, configuration and administration of Sun and AIX servers in a large enterprise environment.
- Other activities include performing problem determination, analyzing system performance, managing backup and recovery, administering distributed print servers, and writing shell programs for automation.
- Will have the ability to integrate various systems and network components to deliver viable solutions.
- Communication and interaction with customers and other support groups is required and a Key Responsibility. - Will share responsibility for off-shift and holiday coverage. (pager rotation)
