A Solution Architect, High-Tech works closely with clients in the Wireless, Networking, and Storage markets to define, create, and present innovative Software Development and Testing solutions and programs.

 

The Solution Architect is primarily responsible for:engaging and consulting with customers and salespeople to gather customer requirements defining solutions that leverage Lionbridge/VeriTest capabilities to address client needs in Software Development and Testingcoordinating the efforts of internal subject matter experts to present client solutions guiding development of proposals and pricing models for complex or innovative solutions creating ROI and other economic models to substantiate the proposed solution.

 

The Solution Architect will have an important sales support function, providing the sales team with a resource to help address process, technical, and other aspects of the customer communication.

 

The Solution Architect is a member of the Solution Development team. This team is collectively responsible for developing solutions that meet client expectations for technical competency, process innovation, cost savings and quality. By analyzing customer requirements, the Solution Architect will identify market trends and opportunities to propose and deliver innovative, value-driving new solutions. The Solution Architect will then work closely with operations, marketing and sales to deliver new "out-of-box" solutions.

 

Finally, the Solution Architect will participate with other team members in defining process improvements, template updates, population of content within the knowledge base and status reporting.

 

 

Job Qualifications

 

Education:

?  Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or related field of study

?  MBA a plus

Experience:

?  Minimum of 10 years experience in development, quality assurance, or related fields

?  Specific development or QA experience with Mobile Telecom Devices, Information/Data Storage Products, and/or Networking products

?  IT-related consulting experience a plus

 

Skill/Ability:

?  Strong customer presentation and communication skills

?  Deep understanding of application development and QA methodologies, particularly in defined markets (Wireless/Mobile devices, Storage, Networking)

?  Expertise in various test automation toolsets and technologies

?  Experience working with offshore delivery models and outsourcing programs

?  Deep understanding of customers' technical and business needs

?  Ability to build financial models to demonstrate financial ROI for proposed solutions

?  Capacity to build and lead efficient and cohesive teams

?  Excellent project management and organizational skills

?  Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly and creatively

?  Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and in stressful situations

?  Strong time management skills

?  Capacity to understand and assimilate complex technical information
