Solutions Consultant

Solutions Consultant As a Solutions Consultant in the Charlotte, NC location you will be responsible for providing business strategy and technical consulting to our financial services client to assist them in implementing new components or enhancing existing components of the eEMS product suite.

Development will be performed in accordance with guidelines and standards provided by the eEMS R&D group, and will be modeled on existing components and interfaces. A heavy emphasis will be placed on test driven development practices, with a requirement for the development of unit tests concurrently with implementation of new components or enhancements.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
? BS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
? 5 + years experience in providing consulting services. Big 5 and financial services industry experience a plus.
? Must have a strong application development and methodology background in a large systems environment. Experience with development and delivery of products to external customers a strong plus
? Strong working knowledge of SQL shell scripting, C++, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, .NET.
? Practical experience with network/web application concepts and developments
? Team player, able to take direction but also motivated to provide input and guidance when requested
? Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
? Ability to multi-task and switch priorities in a dynamic development environment

Must be based or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
