Sr. Analyst Programmer

MSD is an employee-owned company of over 600 professionals who support the diverse technical, scientific, and administrative needs of the Federal government. We are currently searching for a Sr. Programmer Analyst to support one of our clients. This opportunity is permanent, full-time, and on site in Raleigh, NC.
The Criminal Court Information System project (CCIS) is tasked with replacing an existing, 20 year old criminal system to a Web-enabled, browser-based application. The project will encompass migration from a legacy system and provide clerks of court as well as other court users the ability to create, edit, update view, and print criminal court processes and other documentation.
Description of Work
This position serves as a Senior Analyst Programmer who will perform analysis and develop code. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral or written form and the ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship within and outside the development team. This position requires strong analytical skills, java development skills and the ability to grasp new technologies quickly. Responsibilities will include the following:
? Development of business objects, DAO helpers, translators and JSP.
? Writing Java programming code.
? Performing analysis and producing related documentation including screen design, use cases and detailed design documents.
? Utilization of the Rational Unified Process (RUP
