Sr. Basis Support Analyst

We are seeking a Sr. SAP Basis Support Analyst resource for a 6/months contract assignment for the Downtown Houston office location.  The following is a detailed job description:

 

Provide administrative system support for SAP and other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Facilitate in the maintenance of the system landscape and client strategy to support development, testing and training activities.

Define, Develop and Maintain procedures to support high availability, exceptional performance and a reliable operation.

Develop technical standards to support an open architecture for interfaces with the SAP system.

Report, Review, and Analyze SAP system performance.

Document and Maintain interfaces which exchange data with SAP and other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Document and Maintain characteristics about  SAP scheduled jobs.

Coordinate, Schedule and Monitor activities in the system landscape.

Required skills:

Experience supporting R/3 systems is required

CRM Internet Sales or APO experiences a strong plus.

An understanding of client server technology administration with at least five years in an NT networking environment is required.

Experience with MS SQL server is required. Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Requires problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with Self-Motivation and Goal orientation are essential.

Experience with SAP Basis Administration, Work Bench Organizer, Data Dictionary, Change Management and OSS is a plus.

Must be a team player capable of making balanced independent decisions.
