Sr. Business Analyst with Investments or Fixed Income We Have The COMPETITIVE Advantage!

If you answered YES, then please continue to read! Currently, we are looking to fill 4 Business Analysts positions that have either solid investments or fixed income experience, and also has a solid understanding of front, middle and back office operations, ability to translate business needs into requirements that effectively address the needs of the both the needs of client and the technical team. Primary ResponsibilitiesDocuments business requests and translates business initiatives into business requirement documents. Works with the technology team to identify and resolve business problems that arise throughout the life of a technology project.  Manages the QA process of technology projects to assure that projects meet their stated requirements.  Handles project management for small to medium technology projects.  Has a very close interaction with developers and business users.Minimum RequirementsAt least 3-5 years experience with Fixed Income or Investments in a Business analyst role and a thorough understanding of how front, middle and back office operations work with the ability to write effective business requirements documents Experience in working with portfolio managers, traders, or other high-profile usersExperience with key Investment management tools such as portfolio accounting systems, trading systems, or reporting systemsCustomer-service oriented with strong communication skills and is Process and Documentation oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExperience in working in a technical environment, with the emphasis on:Communicating effectively with technical peopleUnderstanding all phases of the SDLCBasic understanding of key software development areas, including databases, development tools and networking

 Additional skills that would be a plusCFAExperience in writing technical documentsFamiliarity with 3rd party Fixed Income or Investments analytics tools
