Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Enterprise Reporting

Job Title: Sr. IT Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
? Provide the organization with internal business analyst capabilities along the following dimensions: process analysis, design, optimization, and re-engineering; data modeling and analysis; technical architecture analysis; and data architecture analysis.
? Responsible for interviewing system users, documentation of existing business processes and/or systems, gathering functional requirements for analysis/design.
? Responsible for documenting existing business processes in all functions of the company to support enterprise reporting applications.
? Make analytical judgments / recommendations on these processes and articulate them to Management.
? Perform root cause analysis, business and system process analysis, and develop long term solutions to business operations, sales, and other enterprise issues.
? Responsible for creating, defining, and documenting workflow diagrams.
? Perform critical analysis of data flow within and across systems throughout the enterprise.
? Perform analysis with imperfect and often incomplete data, distilling key findings and presenting them to business and technical leaders.
? Translate business requirements into information technology approaches and solutions.
? Use USF standard System Development Life cycle methods and tools to document analysis.
? Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills (Preferred):
? Sales Force Automation, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Reporting
? Process improvement / design; business process flow diagramming
? Ability to work in virtual teams
? Expert skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project) and Visio
? Ability to clearly and concisely articulate business and technical concepts to Management and development staff in writing and verbally.

Experience Required (Minimum Needed):
? 5 to 7 years experience in Enterprise Reporting Systems and/or Project Management.
? 2 to 4 years Information Technology Experience

Education Required (Minimum Needed):
? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, etc. or related work experience required.
