Sr Business Systems Consultant

We are looking for an IT professional for one of our helathcare client, who can work closely with information technology professionals and internal business partners. Requires a strong technology background in solutions analysis, development and implementation. This is for a 1 year right to hire position at Walnut Creek, CA.

The successful candidate must be able to:

-initiate, investigate, document, and analyze client requirements
-research innovative approaches to IT solutions support
-perform operational readiness assessment-assess scope and impact of client business needs, and identify and document cross-functional and/or cross-divisional, functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications.
-develop business cases with cost, service, and benefit dimensions of proposed IT projects
-participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client
business processes and functional requirements
-work closely with IT PM and Business Process Manager to define requirements
-identify training needs for the project
-complete required documentation

The successful candidate must also apply current methodologies/standards to requirements analysis, follow Service Level Agreements., perform and evaluates risks, as well as communicates and escalates issues. This position may require the candidate to assist in the development of project plans and use the associated project planning tools.
Required:


-BS degree in Computer Science, or other related field.
-5-7 year of relevant experience as an IT technical consultant/PM.
-Previous SOX background required - at least 1 year.
-May require some travel which would be minimal.
